University of Copenhagen in Denmark offers PHD scholarships 2015-16

University of Copenhagen in Denmark is offering the scholarships for PHD scholarships. The selected candidate will be the part of the team and partake in the activities of the project on the daily basis. The successful candidates will be working cooperate with the others members of the project and the research project of living machine.

University of Copenhagen, Denmark, Department of Media, Cognition and Communication, Faculty of Humanities, offers scholarships for the 3 year scholarships for the PHD scholars. Danish research council is sponsored by the limitations of the Engineering approach to organism. The candidate will be expected to begin on November 1, 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Last deadline: candidates can submit their application till September 10, 2015.

Area of Subject: Scholarship is provided in Adaptationism, Evolution and Engineering at University Copenhagen.

Course level: University of Copenhagen, Denmark offers the PHD level degree for Danish and international students.

Eligibility criteria: The successful candidate will be working in close cooperation with the other members of the project. It is expected that the successful candidate will be present, part of the team and partake in the activities of the project on a daily basis.

Eligible Nationalities: Danish and international applicants can apply for these scholarships.

Scholarship Benefits: As a PhD student holding a PhD scholarship you are employed as a member of scientific staff in accordance with the collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.  Scholars will receive total salary consists of a basic pay based on previous academic job experience and a supplement.  Scholars will receive the stipend of PHD students) DKK 24,080 and the PhD supplement is DKK 1257.83 monthly. DKK 3500 monthly is paid to a pension scheme. Other allowances might be agreed upon according to the requirements of the collective agreement.

Candidates must attach the copy of the applicant’s Master’s degree diploma and copy of previous educational documents.

Candidates must attach Bachelor degree diploma and transcript of records

If the students have the master diploma or examination records or examination in other language than English If the MA diploma and/or examination records are in another language than English, German, French, Danish, Norwegian or Swedish, please include a translation into either of these languages in your application.

Applicant must enclosure the Documentation of English expertise.

Applicants attach the Project proposal. It should not be exceed to the 12,000 characters.

Scholar’s do not upload ZIP files and do not give in to any publications, references or your Master thesis.

Diploma and transcript of records: The translation of diplomas/certificates and transcripts may be made by or approved by either: a state-authorized translator and interpreter.
